YIPPEE!! Our passports have finally arrived (all 5!) We are now headed to Portland for one final meal out (at my favorite restaurant, Sweet Tomatoes.) We will be staying in a hotel in Portland tonight and leaving tomorrow. Bob and Bette are driving us and are also staying the night so they can come with us to the airport to help us with our 13 suitcases (not to mention the carry-ons and Jessy's carseat and stroller.) We are thankful for their help (especially Greg). Our plane leaves for San Francisco at 7:59am. Since this is an international flight, we must check in 3 hours early (yes, that means check-in at 5am.) But, this is better than the previous flights we were scheduled for because they were both to leave at 6am (with a 4 hour lay over in SF, while now we have just 2 hours to kill.) This will be my final post until we arrive in Okinawa. It will be Friday night, 9pm, their time. Here, it would be Friday morning 5am. So, this is a full 24 hour trip. Wish us luck!

It is so amazing to believe you are truly headed to Okinawa. What a crazy, long journey this has been for you all. Get a great night sleep. Marsha, no running up and down the halls looking for ice, in the hotel! I love ya, sweet dreams & safe flight.
