Step 1 complete! Our 1000 lb unaccompanied baggage is gone. It went in 3 large boxes. The movers had it packed and gone in about an hour and a half. Amazing! Now we are waiting for Session 2--the 3500 personal property allotment. This is the rest of what will be shipped to Okinawa. This stuff gets put on a slow boat to China (or in this case, Japan) and should arrive to us in 60-90 days. Ugh. We will have it, but not quickly! Hopefully, by Halloween. The pictures aren't quite the sum-total. There is some stuff going that is not pictured (our futon, Jessy's bed, his stander, some hanging clothes, and some various stuff that is stacked in hallways. But, the pictures do show most of it. The dining room stuff is mostly breakable things. The table is covered in things that we couldn't just stack somewhere waiting to be packed by the movers. (The snowglobes, Lighthouses, Precious Moments, picture frames, etc.) Also, some kitchen stuff is in that picture since the dining room was in close proximity. The other picture is the majority of the remainder of our stuff that we will be taking. Phew! One more step to go. . . the stuff for storage. That will be picked up on Monday and Tuesday. Then, we clean and pack our suitcases. We are almost there!

WOW...you are so close! Just a little over a week away. Is everyone getting excited or are you too busy to get excited yet? It probably won't hit you until your bags are packed and you are at the airport. Good luck with everything. I am so excited for you. *hugs*
Oh Wow! Everything is coming together so fast. I just keep getting that song in my head, "I'm leaving on a jet plane..."
