Hawaii-Germaine's Luau

We went to Germaine's Luau on Barber's Point (close to where we stayed). This was one of the most relaxed, best staged luaus I have ever been to. It is right on the beach (in fact you walk through the sand throughout the entire venue.) If you ever make it to Oahu, keep this one in mind!

Suffering from jet lag and a long day at Hanauma Bay and the Makapu'u lighthouse. The fatigue shows on Erika's face as she watches the dancing.

Michael really enjoyed the music and the dancing. He is definately our musical child.
Jessy is tired, too, but he also had a good time. Don't they all look cute in their Hawaiian duds?!

Getting ready for the main event--digging up the pit-barbecued pig.

Mmmm....dinner!

Gettin' into the dancing fun!

Erika finally got into the fun, too.

You can't quite tell from the picture, but Michael is "shaking his tail" to the tahitian dance. Beleive it or not, this kid can move his bum in a fast rhythmic motion!
Just outside the Luau, stands the Barber's Point Lighthouse. Who knew I would get to see 2 in one day? What a treat!

This picture is for Susie (love ya)!

And one for the boys, too.

The Haynes happy family! What a fun night!
