We were staying on Camp Pendleton in the military cabins there. Grandma and Grandpa Rupp came one evening to roast hotdogs and s'mores and just sit back and enjoy each other's company. Although it was hard to do and see everything in So. Ca. in just one week, it was extra special to have some time to just enjoy each other's company.
Mom & Dad also organized a pool party that was hosted by my Aunt Linda and Uncle Tony (at their house) with lots of our friends. Although I don't have any pictures from that day, it was certainly a great way to visit with friends before it was time to head back to Washington where we would spend the remainder of our summer.
