KDAP, Part 2--It's Over!
We had our hearing today. Although we were all very unnerved by the formality of it all, it turned out to not be so scary. Mostly, the judge did her best to instill in Michael the fear and anxiety that his actions caused us. She pressed him to realize how a bully is never ever worth it. Our case has been dismissed and no actions were required. It's done, it's over, nothing was put in our files. All done. Back to our happy house! Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers, we really, really cannot express our thanks enough! We love you all!

Bad day but great news!! Thank you God, Amen!! I'm so sorry this happen to your family. I do believe we all as parents learned from your experience. We talked with Joey about things, other people say to get you, to do what they want. We talked about him never, NEVER, leaving the house, even if he forgot something in the car. We would always need to be with him every time he walked out. We stressed the importance of staying with us anytime we were out. These topics will be an ongoing conversation with Joey. Again so thankful this is over for you all!!
Great news at least the justice system got it right this time. Too many inocent people have spent time in jail.

We are relieved it's over. This will leave a scar on our hearts, but we have indeed learned from this. If anyone else learns to take 7 year old bullies seriously and avoids this pain, then something good has come of it and it was God's plan.
This unfortunate experience will live long in your hearts, but at least you have come out of it in the best way possible. I pray this will bring your family closer together, and Michael and Erika will know how very much they are loved.
God Be With You All

Yay Haynes family. I'm glad everything is okay and there is no official mark on your record because of it. What a relief!
