Okay, I'm slow. I'll admit it. But, here are the pictures from last weekend's International Festival. We got to march with the Japanese scouts in the parade. They asked all of us to carry a flag. It was a long walk and Michael struggled to carry the large flag, but we had a good time! The rope is a replica from the hugely popular tug-of-war that occurs in Naha each year. Okinawa City has their own version of this tug-of-war.

Oh how fun to walk in the parade. Good job Michael, that flag looks heavy.
It was heavy, and windy, too so it kept almost blowing him away!
